I need a combination hardwood floor and carpet steam cleaner/scrubber. Does any one have a good recommendation for this? I have 2 cats and I don’t want to buy 2 separate units. I would like something that deep cleans carpets and can be used on hardwood floors. I am so tired of reading websites and reviews!!
my carpet has stains my shampooer cant get out, a friend suggested using a carpet steam cleaning company, i called a couple in town, but they are charging me around to do my whole house, isnt that pretty high? do they really get your carpet cleaner? i rented a rug doctor for , but it was more trouble than i expected. should i try to get a lower price to have a professional carpet cleaner do my carpet? or get new carpet? it is only 4 years old.

Need to clean five rooms, a hallway, landing and two flights of stairs in a London Victorian terrace house. The carpets are probably 20 years old and fairly grubby. is it possible to use a carpet steam cleaner on tile floors? ive heard of this but i dont want to mess up the grout or something.. i wonder if it will clean the grout and shine the tiles for me? What do you think?
