A lot of similar questions have been asked on here but the answers given point to carpet CLEANING machines. I’m looking for a vacuum that has STEAMING capabilities. The machines in the grocery stores like Rug Doc. are just shampoo machines with scrubbing brushes. Thanks for any help!

We lived in a one bedroom apartment for a year, and we aren’t smokers so it didn’t smell, no pets either. Our carpet was spotless on move out because we NEVER wore shoes on carpet area. Never spilled anything. Our deposit was 0 and we just received a letter from the apartments that we owe them 0 more because of cleaning fees and carpet cleaning since we didn’t shampoo the carpet. I live in WA- is there any laws that are on my side?

I can’t afford to shampoo this filthy old basement carpet. Other than just letting baking soda sit, is there any way I can shampoo/deep clean it with products I already have? There are soda and mold stains everywhere and it smells. :/

I am looking to shampoo my carpet but don’t want to splash out on an expensive cleaner. Is there like a spray or can of powder or something I can buy and use myself at home to clean my carpet?

Ok. So. I accidently got dirt on my Mom’s carpet…and she’s not too thrilled about it. She wants me to clean it but we have no carpet cleaner shampoo stuff. So I obviously can’t use that. How do I get it out of the carpet?? Thanks.

What can I use to get cat litter and cat pee PASTE out of the carpet?
It has been dry for a while, I knew I should have cought this sooner!
I have tried just shampooing with regualar shampooer shampoo, laundry detergant, viniger, expensive carpet cleaner spray that turns into foam, grease cutter, and oops.
It helped but its not getting it deep into the carpet and you can tell its deep in the carpet. Thereis also some right against the wall.
I have tried scrubbing the heck out of it.
I don’t know what else do do, please help!!!
Thanks for everyones answers ahead of time!

I’m planning on cleaning my parents home, including their carpet, which is covered in old urine stains. I have a deep cleaner, in the past certain shampoos I have tried to use on the carpet-the one’s that are from the manufacture- haven’t really done much to help remove the stain and odor.
When I was in Petco today I noticed that there were some carpet cleaner/shampoo there that are made specifically for pet urine and odor. I asked an Associate what they would recommend, they said all were good, but that Nature’s Miracle was the best. I have heard of it before but haven’t really tried it, and there are a lot of options as far as carpet cleaning goes.
If you have tried it-does it work?
Also, what type would you recommend? The one specifically made for urine, the deep cleaning shampoo, or any of the others?
Is there another brand you would suggest?

My cat recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back. The lump may or may not be cancerous; we haven’t gotten the biopsy results back yet. The vet put him on Clavamox – 2 tablets a day for 2 weeks. It has been one week so far, and my cat has been throwing up quite frequently. He’s always thrown up a lot, ever since he was little, just because he’s a pig of a cat. My concern is that he is now puking pea green liquid, and hasn’t eaten anything that would cause the odd color. I did shampoo the carpet today (to clean up the other vomit spots), but there’s no way he ingested any of the supplies. The only other possibility I can think of would be the antibiotic he’s on. Has anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone know what the cause might be? I am going to contact the vet first thing in the morning, but I was hoping to get some answers before then.
